Welcome to the Creation Station February Blog Hop! We are celebrating the January-February 2022 Sale-a-Bration this month by creating with products available FREE to customers with a qualifying purchase.
My projects feature the Daffodil Afternoon 12" x 12" designer series paper (#158127). This paper pack of 12 sheets, 2 each of three double-sided designs, is my favorite FREE-with-a-minimum-$50.00-purchase product in the current Sale-a-Bration free product collection. This paper coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream Bundle (#157795, including stamp set and the Daffodil dies) in the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. This bundle is $54.75--so you purchase the bundle, you may get the coordinating paper FREE.
I love this beautiful paper. It is a real statement maker for your projects. That means the paper is the focal point for simple, beautiful projects that are easy and fast to make.
When our Stampin' Up! designers create a paper design like this daffodil field made to cut up into 6 beautiful card fronts--you have the fastest designer series paper card project you can make! Just add a greeting and the card is ready for mailing. (I added a bit more to this one!) The greeting on this card is from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set (#157786) stamped in Evening Evergreen on Very Vanilla card stock, then die cut using a Tailor Made tag die (#155563). Three pieces of Linen Thread (#104199) were tied in a bow and attached to cover the hole in the tag. The three Mint Macaron butterflies were die cut with the two smallest butterflies in the Brilliant Wings die set (#155523) and were each centered with a black Classic Matte dot (#158146). The paper was adhered to a layer of Mint Macaron card stock and a card base of Very Vanilla thick card stock.
This project was created just to show off some of the beautiful and coordinating paper designs in this paper pack. Six 1" x 3-3/4" strips of different patterns were adhered to a layer of Very Vanilla card stock. The greeting was die cut using the Amazing Thanks dies (#157816) out of the dotted Pale Papaya paper and Basic Black card stock. I love the way these dies layer to form the word with a shadow outline. A card base of Very Vanilla Thick card stock, three black Classic Matte dots, and a length of black baker's twine (Essentials Pack, #155475) tied around the card twice and into a bow finish this easy to make project.
This gift box was created using a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box (#153069). The large belly band on the box was created with one of my favorite designs in the paper pack. It is 5-1/4" wide x 10-1/2" long and wrapped around the box with the ends adhered to each other with Tear & Tape adhesive. The greeting is from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set. It was stamped in VersaMark onto the other side of the belly band paper design, then heat embossed with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder (Basics Pack, #155554). I loved the hearts pattern for a Mother's Day gift. This piece was die cut using a Tasteful Label die (#152886) then layered over a Pale Papaya label die cut with a die from the same die set. These were then layered over a piece of Pale Papaya & White 1/2" ribbon (#155816) tied in a bow and then a Basic Gray Heart & Home Doily (#157956). Three Pale Papaya Genial Gems (#155500) complete the belly band.
I hope I've inspired you to create fast, easy and beautiful projects with this stunning paper! Now let's see which Free product inspired Denita's projects this month--I know they will be beautiful because hers always are!
Have a great week!!--Sara Nell
