Wildflower Thank You--#tgifc356

The inspiration challenge this week over at TGIF Challenges is Sale-a-Bration.  Since we are in the last few days of the January-February  Sale-a-Bration, we are featuring Sale-a-Bration FREE-with-qualifying-purchase products. I have chosen to feature the Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper (#158127, Free with a minimum $50.00 purchase). This paper was designed to coordinate with the Daffodil Daydream bundle (#157795) in the current Mini Catalog; however, today I am pairing it with the Nature's Harvest stamp set (#156495) and Harvest Dies (#156504) which are carryovers from our July to December 2021 Mini Catalog:

The card base is a 5-1/2" x 11" Very Vanilla thick card stock folded in half with the fold at the top. The entire front is covered with the multi-floral patterned paper from the designer series paper pack.  You can pick out some wildflower images from this pattern which coordinate with images from the Nature's Harvest stamp set.  Over this I layered a windowpane patterned paper in Flirty Flamingo and Pale Papaya.

I stamped the wildflower image and the greeting in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink  and die cut them to layer over the windowpane paper.  The flowers were colored with Mossy Meadow Light, Old Olive Light, Flirty Flamingo Combo and Pale Papaya Combo Stampin' Blends.

Pale Papaya woven ribbon (#155816) was tied around the front of the card and tied in a bow at the edge of the windowpane layer.  Three Pale Papaya In Color Jewels (#155571) complete the card.

Bluebird Thank You Note--#tgifc355

Welcome to my blog today!  I have a little thank you note card to share with you. It is based on the TGIF Challenges sketch challenge this week:

This note card features the Friendly Hello Bundle (#159990) from the January-February 2022 Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  The bundle includes the Friendly Hello stamp set and coordinating designer series paper.  It is FREE with a minimum $100 purchase.

The size of the bird and floral branch image fits really well on a Basic White note card(#159232), especially with this sketch challenge.  It also fits in with my need for a bunch of thank you notes!  The "thank you" is from the Nature's Harvest stamp set (#156495, a carry over from the last mini catalog).  It was stamped on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then fussy cut.

The bluebird image was also stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White card stock.  It was colored with Pool Party, Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends combo markers, then fussy cut.  The card stock was shaded behind the bird image using a Blending Brush (#153611) and Pool Party ink. The splatters were added with a Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker.  This stamped piece was layered over a piece of Pool Party card stock and then on the note card base.

A piece of Pale Papaya patterned paper from the Friendly Hello designer series paper pack was added to the front of the card as well as the flap on the envelope.

You're the Nicest--#tgifc354

It's TGIF Challenges color challenge week!  The colors for this challenge are Soft Sea Foam, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate.  Soft colors make a pretty card:

The focal bouquet of wildflowers was created with the Honeybee Home Bundle (#157952, includes Honeybee Home stamp set, #157943, and Honeybee Blooms dies, #157951, at 10% off). The stamped images were stamped in Smoky Slate and colored with Calypso Coral and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends markers.  One die cut was die cut in Basic White and colored with the same blends. Three other leaf dies were die cut out of Pear Pizzazz to serve as a contrast to the soft colors and the light background paper from the Heart & Home designer series paper pack (#157928).  The paper was die cut with the largest circle die from the Layering Circles dies (#151770) and the Calypso Coral scalloped circle die cut from the same die set.

The greeting is from the Honeybee Home stamp set.it was stamped in Smoky Slate on Basic White and fussy cut using Paper Snips (#103579).  The circle was layered over Soft Sea Foam card stock die cut with the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451).  A bow in White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding (#151326) and three Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) complete the card.

Creation Station February Blog Hop: Sale-a-Bration Celebration

Welcome to the Creation Station February Blog Hop! We are celebrating the January-February 2022 Sale-a-Bration this month by creating with products available FREE to customers with a qualifying purchase.

My projects feature the Daffodil Afternoon 12" x 12" designer series paper (#158127). This paper pack of 12 sheets, 2 each of three double-sided designs, is my favorite FREE-with-a-minimum-$50.00-purchase product in the current Sale-a-Bration free product collection.  This paper coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream Bundle (#157795, including stamp set and the Daffodil dies) in the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.  This bundle is $54.75--so you purchase the bundle, you may get the coordinating paper FREE.

I love this beautiful paper.  It is a real statement maker for your projects.  That means the paper is the focal point for simple, beautiful projects that are easy and fast to make.

When our Stampin' Up! designers create a paper design like this daffodil field made to cut up into 6 beautiful card fronts--you have the fastest designer series paper card project you can make!  Just add a greeting and the card is ready for mailing. (I added a bit more to this one!) The greeting on this card is from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set (#157786) stamped in Evening Evergreen on Very Vanilla card stock, then die cut using a Tailor Made tag die (#155563).  Three pieces of Linen Thread (#104199) were tied in a bow and attached to cover the hole in the tag.  The three Mint Macaron butterflies were die cut with the two smallest butterflies in the Brilliant Wings die set (#155523) and were each centered with a black Classic Matte dot (#158146).  The paper was adhered to a layer of Mint Macaron card stock and a card base of Very Vanilla thick card stock.

This project was created just to show off some of the beautiful and coordinating paper designs in this paper pack.   Six 1" x 3-3/4" strips of different patterns were adhered to a layer of Very Vanilla card stock.  The greeting was die cut using the Amazing Thanks dies (#157816) out of the dotted Pale Papaya paper and Basic Black card stock.  I love the way these dies layer to form the word with a shadow outline.  A card base of Very Vanilla Thick card stock, three black Classic Matte dots, and a length of black baker's twine (Essentials Pack, #155475) tied around the card twice and into a bow finish this easy to make project.

This gift box was created using a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box (#153069).  The large belly band on the box was created with one of my favorite designs in the paper pack.  It is 5-1/4" wide x 10-1/2" long and wrapped around the box with the ends adhered to each other with Tear & Tape adhesive.  The greeting is from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set. It was stamped in VersaMark onto the other side of the belly band paper design, then heat embossed with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder (Basics Pack, #155554).  I loved the hearts pattern for a Mother's Day gift.  This piece was die cut using a Tasteful Label die (#152886) then layered over a Pale Papaya label die cut with a die from the same die set.  These were then layered over a piece of Pale Papaya & White 1/2" ribbon (#155816) tied in a bow and then a Basic Gray Heart & Home Doily (#157956).  Three Pale Papaya Genial Gems (#155500) complete the belly band.

I hope I've inspired you to create fast, easy and beautiful projects with this stunning paper!  Now let's see which Free product inspired Denita's projects this month--I know they will be beautiful because hers always are!

Have a great week!!--Sara Nell
